Waistcoats are often used by costume designers as a tool to identify differences in characters on stage, especially in period pieces. Learn the basics of costume construction (without the complexities of tailoring) in this 2 hour Masterclass with local Stage Design & Production team Scene2.
Scenic Artists - Will Coyne and Alice Nelson – will share their skills in costume design and construction to create a “one size” untailored waistcoat. Working with basic pattern blocks and a range of materials from the Scene2 store, once an individual knows how to create a waistcoat, they can use that as a base for other items of clothing.
No need to bring anything – all materials provided.
