ACT Company presents 'Once the Musical'

Written by Enda Walsh, with music and lyrics by Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) and Markéta Irglová (The Swell Season), this emotionally captivating musical is the only one to have music that won the Academy Award (‘Falling Slowly’), Grammy Award, Olivier Award and Tony Award.
On the streets of Dublin, an Irish musician and a Czech immigrant are drawn together by their shared love of music. Over the course of one fateful week, an unexpected friendship and collaboration quickly evolves into a powerful but complicated love story, underscored by emotionally charged music.
ACT Company is delighted to revive their highly-acclaimed 2022 production of this wonderful West End and Broadway smash-hit musical and take it on tour across the region. The cast are the band, the band are the cast. All the music is live and played as part of the story.
