Draw Your Own Character with Luke Newell

Using his patented ‘Drawing with Sausages’ technique from his award-winning ‘Rhinoceros Can’t Draw’ book, you will learn to create your own awesome, unique characters.

In the first workshop, for 6-10 year olds, children will have fun learning about basic shape and figures. (No actual sausages will be used!) Children can then add their own creative flare to personalise their illustration.
Children need to be accompanied by an adult for this workshop.

At 2.30, in the session for 11-16 year olds, Luke will expand on how to embellish characters, layering in cool details and starting to think in 3D! Each young person will finish the workshop with their own character, suitable for a story book, animation or video game.
Children do not need to be accompanied for this workshop.
