HD&OS presents Dick Whittington

Hertford Dramatic and Operatic Society are delighted to once again be able to bring Pantomime fun to the Theatre in BEAM. This show is suitable for the whole family and will include all the elements you expect from a traditional Panto including the hero of the title, Dick Whittington, and his feline friend called Tom the Cat….or is he? We also have a fabulous Dame, Sarah the Cook, and her son Idle Jack.

There will be lots of audience participation and a five piece band to accompany the lively singing and dancing from our large cast. Our writer, Ian, will ensure there are plenty of local references and topical gags. Our baddie King Rat and his dastardly henchmen will do their best to foil Dick’s plans…. Oh yes he will!  Come along to find out whether Dick wins both the day and the hand of his love Alice.
