Times: 11.30-12.30 & 3-4pm
Get ready for a crafty Halloween at BEAM! Join us to explore how Eric Carle created The Hungry Caterpillar artwork by making your own paper pumpkin lantern for collecting your Halloween treats, and a colourful monster mask to give all your friends a funny fright.
A perfect half-term activity to complement watching The Very Hungry Caterpillar at 2pm or 4.30pm!
Children will work with local illustrator Robyn Wilson-Owen to design and create their monster character and decorate their lanterns.
To create our fun lanterns and masks, we will be using tissue paper in all the colours of the rainbow just like Eric Carle.
We will be using paper and washable glue, it would be best to come wearing clothes you would be comfortable getting a little glue on so everyone can relax and enjoy the creative fun.
We have two sessions: 11.30am-12.30pm and 3-4pm. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
All materials will be provided.
