Join us for an evening of original immersive theatre and discover a shadowy side of Hertford you never knew existed!
Charles Papper, a Hertford lamplighter, has stories to tell. As the night draws on, you will meet real women from Hertford’s dark past and make up your own mind about what really happened to them. But it is not just these women who carry darkness; the lamplighter also hides shadowy secrets of his own.
Please note: This is a promenade performance, meaning the audience will move between different spaces within the venue alongside the actors. Audience members will be standing and walking for the duration of the performance.
