In his feature debut, world-renowned opera director Damiano Michieletto gives a fictionalised account of Antonio Vivaldi's time as resident composer and violin teacher at the Ospedale della Pietà in Venice, where he composed most of his major works, told from the perspective of one of his most talented female students.

These screenings are aimed at creating a welcoming space for those aged 65+ to enjoy films at a quiet time of day. At BEAM Seniors, you can come alone, join us with a friend or family member or spark up a conversation with a fellow audience member. It’s totally up to you.
